Our ages and roles differ. Our passion is the same: a desire to protect and strengthen our democracy. We believe America’s democracy is in danger. We also believe that WE THE PEOPLE, not the politicians, are the only ones who can truly protect it.

What we do:

• Listen to and amplify local voices.

• Educate to activate.

• Share art and stories to inspire understanding and empathy.

• Foster partnerships. Strength comes through unity.

How we do it:

• Publish Voices4Democracy Indiana Substack and Instagram site, both of which feature regular contributors as well as ample “guest posts” from contributors from throughout in Indiana.

• Partner with local groups to host educational events such as film viewing, civics labs, festivals, and more. Past partners include MADVoters, From Strangers to Neighbors, Carmel Indivisible, and the Hamilton County Democracy Coalition.

• Push out Calls to Action during the legislative session make it easier for local citizens to connect with local and federal legislators. These can be found on our Instagram and Facebook pages as well.
